An Introduction to the Student Reasonable Adjustments Policy for Teaching Staff Online
The new student reasonable adjustments policy launched in September 2025, stipulating that staff can now make reasonable adjustments for students without, or in advance of a Student Support Plan (SSP) being in place.
This workshop is aimed at teaching colleagues who would like to find out more about: making informed decisions around adjustments to your formative and summative assessments, designing inclusive and accessible modules, and how to respond to an individual student’s request. You can review the guidance site to support you in navigating the policy.
We’ll highlight policy changes and new processes for logging and monitoring adjustments. We will allow plenty of time for your questions and discussion.
