Making your module accessible for neurodiverse and disabled students Online
Join us and take a significant step towards creating a more accessible learning experience for all your students, including those that are neurodiverse and/or disabled.
"Making your module accessible" is an online workshop that equips you with the knowledge and tools needed to ensure your Moodle module is accessible to everyone. We'll teach you the best practices for structuring your Moodle module to benefit all students, particularly those who are neurodiverse and/or disabled. You'll also learn how to use Ally, a tool integrated into Moodle, to generate accessibility reports for your module and to identify and fix accessibility issues.
The session will guide you on how to correct captions to ensure you are adhering to City’s lecture recording policies. You'll also learn how to support your students by introducing them to various accessibility tools and features.
If you cannot attend one of our scheduled sessions, you can request bespoke training via the Digital Accessibility - IT Self-Service Portal.
