City St George's Learning Circle. The Academic Transition Programme to support students into life at university. Online
As part of October's focus on students do join and welcome Dimitra Giakoumi (Academic skills Tutor), and other members of the team to find out about the new Academic Transition Programme. This programme aims to support students in navigating the shift into university life, particularly during their first year. Through a series of interactive sessions, it aims to help students develop essential academic skills, foster self-awareness, and promote effective communication, time management, and resilience, enabling them to build confidence and stay engaged so their transition can be as smooth, guided, and supported as possible. Do come along with any ideas and suggestions as well and be prepared to answer some of these questions:
