City St George's Learning circle. Moodle will be updated to Moodle 4.5 Online
Moodle will be updated to Moodle 4.5 on the weekend of the 18th to 20th July this year.
Join the Digital Education team as they give an overview of the upgrades and changes in Moodle 4.5.
The updates will include changes that will make organising your modules easier such as:
- the introduction of subsections
- the ability to add activities and resources anywhere on a module
- changes to the Module Index
- the reintroduction of bulk editing.
There will also be improvements to assessments.
- Improved interface on Assignment submission screen making it easier to filter and navigate
- The ability to message students from the assignment submission page
- A new Moodle quiz question type
- The introduction of hidden groups, to manage resubmission and extensions for Turnitin and Video assignments.
This Learning Circle will give you a preview of these changes and more, and will cover how you can book onto training and find more support.
