Select your (almost) perfect assignment on Moodle Online
Moodle offers a variety of options for online assessment, including:
- Moodle assignment
- Turnitin assignment
- Video/multimedia assignment
- Moodle quiz
- Peer Assessment
This interactive session will explore the benefits and considerations of each assessment type and will help to inform your choice of assessment. We will consider how to choose your assignment type based on:
- The types of files your students will submit
- The use of a similarity report
- Marking mechanisms
- Ease of granting extensions or resubmissions
- Anonymity of submission and marking
- Group working
At the end of the session, you will have an overview of the assignment types available, their individual advantages and constraints.
