Moodle rubrics and marking records Online
Rubrics are structured grading forms to support consistency in marking and feedback when working in a marking team. Well-designed rubrics can also speed up the marking process. Rubrics provide students with a clear overview of the assessment criteria and the structured feedback can help students identify what they need to do to achieve a higher grade in similar assessments.
LEaD have developed several marking templates. You can import and modify these to reflect your assessment criteria when marking Moodle assignments This 60-minute workshop will explore the components of the rubric and marking templates available and provide you with an opportunity to use a rubric in Moodle.
Please note: this workshop does not cover the use of templates in Turnitin.
